Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2025 Announced

Douglas, WY- August 16, 2024- The Miss Rodeo Wyoming Association is proud to announce Dusty Miller

(Miss Cody Nite Rodeo 2024) of Cowley, WY was crowned Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2025 at the Wyoming

State Fair in Douglas on August 15, 2024. Bailee Mackey, Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2024 was on hand for

the crowning. Dusty was joined by Amelie Binning (Miss Laramie Jubilee 2024) from Laramie, WY. The

judges included Sandra Utter (Pine Bluffs, WY), Kimberly Williams Brackett (Three Creek, ID), and Trevor

Erickson (Providence, UT).


The pageant started on August 12th and concluded on August 15th. They were judged in multiple

categories including horsemanship, personality, and appearance. Other category winners were also

announced during the crowning ceremony.

Dusty Elizabeth Miller is the 23-year-old daughter of Kie and Christy Miller. Dusty was born and raised

here in the Cowboy State, and she comes from one of the oldest farming families in the Big Horn Basin.

As a fourth-generation farmer and a first-generation cowgirl, Dusty has always been an avid supporter of

Wyoming’s agriculture industry.


From a very young age she was involved in showing various livestock in the 4H as well as participating in

photography, fashion and visual arts. Dusty attended Rocky Mountain High School and was very active in

the FFA. She found her passion advocating for agriculture and she was on the officer team all four years.

She is part of the 1% of members to receive their American FFA degree.


Dusty has been representing the sport of rodeo and the tradition of rodeo queens since she was 9 years

old. She has been honored to hold 6 rodeo queen titles in her life and was the 2024 1st runner up for

Miss Rodeo Wyoming. As a 2024 rodeo queen, she has already traveled to over 50 rodeos. She has

attended rodeos all throughout the North as well as the great state of Texas.


Dusty will hold her coronation/fundraiser this fall before traveling to Las Vegas, NV to support Bailee,

Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2024 as she competes for the title of Miss Rodeo America 2025. Additional

information on her coronation/fundraiser, as well as Bailee’s Las Vegas Send-Off party will be released

at a later date on the Miss Rodeo Wyoming website (http://www.missrodeowyoming.com/).

Miss Rodeo Wyoming symbolizes the youth of our state who wish to further promote the sport of

professional rodeo and the great western way of life. Miss Rodeo Wyoming is the ideal western-type

American girl who represents her state, believes in our western heritage and works hard in promoting

these values during her travels. While spreading goodwill for her community, her state and the sport of

rodeo, Miss Rodeo Wyoming garners experiences that lay a solid foundation for her future.


About Miss Rodeo Wyoming Association

The Miss Rodeo Wyoming Association was formed in 1977. The objective of the Association is to

support, promote and guide the lady who reigns as Miss Rodeo Wyoming. The Association assists Miss

Rodeo Wyoming in organizing a coronation benefit held in the hometown of each Miss Rodeo Wyoming

to raise funds for her reigning year. A clinic for young ladies interested in rodeo queen competitions is

also conducted by the Association. The coronation, clinic, and miscellaneous fund raisers conducted by

the Association and sponsorship donations fund travel, wardrobe, and expenses for Miss Rodeo

Wyoming. A scholarship fund has been established and each queen is awarded a scholarship upon the

completion of her reign.
